We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by the Basilica Cistern, its operator, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, or any other rights holder connected to the venue.
We are an independent travel publication, part of the Travel Ticket Box network. Everything here is editorial - our own research, reading and judgement.
2. Trademarks and names
"Basilica Cistern", "Yerebatan Sarnıcı", "Tiqets", and every other trademark, brand name, trading name and logo referred to on this site belong to their respective owners.
We use them for identification and informational purposes only, as is necessary and lawful when writing about a place or a company. Nothing here should be read as a claim of ownership, licence, partnership, official status, or authorisation.
Where a name appears in a page title, heading or URL, it is describing the subject matter. It is not a claim to be that subject.
3. We do not sell tickets
We are not the seller of record for any ticket.
We do not process payments. We do not take bookings. We do not issue, hold, amend, cancel or refund tickets, and we have no access to any ticketing or reservation system.
Where you book through a link on this site, the sale is between you and that third-party provider, under their terms and conditions. Your contract is with them. Your voucher names them. Any question about a booking - changes, refunds, a confirmation that never arrived - goes to that provider, not to us.
Some links are affiliate links and we earn commission on bookings made through them. This never changes the price you pay. See our affiliate disclosure.
4. Accuracy
We work hard on accuracy. Prices, session times and access rules are checked against published sources and live booking listings, and volatile figures are marked as such on the page.
We still cannot guarantee it. Prices change. Session structures change - this venue moved to a split day/evening model, then changed operators. Rules change faster than pages get updated.
Always confirm current prices, times and rules before travelling or paying. Treat this site as a guide to how the system works, not as a substitute for the booking page on the day.
Where sources conflict, we say so on the page rather than picking something that sounds authoritative.
5. Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for:
- Loss, cost or inconvenience arising from reliance on information here, including a missed session, a void ticket, or a trip made in vain
- Errors, omissions or out-of-date content
- The content, availability, terms or conduct of any third-party site or provider
- Interruptions to, or unavailability of, this site
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
Your booking decisions are yours. Please read the terms presented at checkout by whoever you buy from.
6. External links
We link to ticket partners and occasionally to travel forums and other publications where they are the source of something we cite.
We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
7. Using this site
You may read, quote and share this content, with attribution and a link.
You may not republish substantial portions of it as your own, scrape it systematically, or present our research as yours.
8. Rights holders: corrections and takedown
If you are a rights holder and something on this site misuses your trademark, misrepresents your organisation, reproduces your material without permission, or is simply wrong, contact us and we will deal with it.
