Who is responsible
The data controller for this site is the operator of the Travel Ticket Box publishing platform.

Operated from France and Spain. Because we operate from the EU, this policy is written to meet the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we do not do
Worth stating first, because it is unusual enough to be worth knowing.
This site sets no first-party tracking cookies. We do not run our own analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking. We do not build a profile of you, we do not have an advertising audience to sell, and there is no first-party identifier following you between pages.
We do not sell personal data. To anyone, for any purpose.
We do not require an account. There is nothing to register for.
Third-party cookies from partner widgets
Where a page embeds or links to a ticket partner, that partner may set its own cookies once you interact with their widget or land on their site. Those are their cookies under their policies, not ours.
| Partner | Purpose | Their privacy policy |
| Tiqets (Tiqets International B.V., Amsterdam) | Ticket booking, affiliate attribution | tiqets.com privacy policy |
These cookies are typically used to attribute a booking to the site that referred it, and to keep a booking session working.
How to control them:
- Block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser supports this and it does not break this site.
- Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
- Where a partner widget presents its own consent banner, use it.
- Browser extensions that block trackers work normally here.
If you simply read this site and never click through to a partner, no partner cookie is set.
Data we collect
Through the contact form and by email. If you write to us, we receive whatever you send - typically your name, email address, and your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, or consent where you provided the information voluntarily.
Retention: correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data - IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent - as part of operating a web server. This is used for security and troubleshooting, not analytics.
We do not collect payment data. Bookings are made on the partner's systems, and we are not the seller of record.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify anything inaccurate
- Erase it ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Port your data to another controller
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call +33 7 45 01 49 05. We respond within one month, which is the GDPR deadline.
If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you may complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or to the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
Children
This site is aimed at adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
External links
We link to ticket partners and occasionally to other publications. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update this page. Substantive changes - a new partner, a new category of data - will be noted here rather than made quietly.
Data protection contact
